You may be aware that the All-India Organisation of Employers (AIOE), has instituted the National Award for outstanding Industrial Relations and invites applications every year from members for their participation in the selection process.
For the year 2023- 2024 applications are invited for recognising industries with an excellent track record in the field of industrial relations. The Brochure issued by AIOE conveying the eligibility criteria and general guidelines for selection of the Award is attached for your reference. This year AIOE Awards have been classified into three categories for giving importance to wider participation in selection. Eligibility Criteria for Manufacturing, Services and MSME Sectors are given below: –

This Award is given to Industries for adopting innovative methods to foster lasting harmonious Industrial Relations in their establishment. It takes into consideration the negotiation mechanisms adopted, grievance settlement machinery, reduction in number of conflicts, man-days lost. It also takes into account various welfare measures in operation directed to both professional and personal development of the employees. All motivational measures taken to boost the morale and confidence of the employees leading to enhanced productivity and maintaining conducive Industrial relations environment within the establishment.
This Award aims to recognise the industries achieving congenial Industrial Relations climate and also to encourage other member establishments to reach such level of Outstanding Industrial Relations
The Award will be presented by the Hon’ble Minister for Labour and Employment, Government of India on the occasion of the Annual General Meeting of AIOE to be held on 12th December 2024 at Delhi.
The selection process will be a two-tier process, i.e., first at Regional level followed by All India level. The regional selection will be held during the mid of November 2024.
Important processes and dates are as under:
- Five Copies of application should be submitted to us latest by 8th November 2024 along with Participation Fee of Rs. 15,000/- Plus 18% GST for Manufacturing & Service Sector and Rs. 5000/- Plus 18% GST for MSME Sectorby way of Cheque or E-Payment in favour of ‘The Employers Federation of Southern India’.
- All participants will make a presentation to the Regional Selection Committee and Four Participants will be selected at the Regional level for participating in the All-India selection. The Regional selection will be tentatively scheduled by the mid of November 2024.
- The date for regional level selection and detailed programme will be sent to participating organisations for making a presentation before the jury.
- Names of the selected establishments will be sent to AIOE by the end of November 2024 to compete for All India selection. The four selected establishments are required to pay a Fee of Rs 35,000/- Plus GST (Manufacturing & Service Sector) and a Fee of Rs 10,000/- (for MSME Sector) to All India Organisation of Employers, New Delhi.
Considering the good industrial relations Scenario prevailing in this part of the country, many of the members have excellent track record and achieved excellence in the field of Innovation, productivity, Employee development, safety standards, welfare measures, Grievance Redressal Mechanisms etc are eligible to participate.
Last year, 13 leading organisations both in the private and public sectors participated in the regional selection and 7 organisations were selected to participate at the National level.

NOTE: We would like to proudly record that in the All-India Selection our Southern Regional Term won two Awards viz First runner up in Manufacturing sector (Medium Enterprises) and Winner in MSME sector was awarded by AIOE for the year 2021-2022.
